Thermodynamic Calculations
The thermodynamic cycle of the Campus Chiller Plant consists of 4 states: the compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator. The following calculations describe an in-depth thermodynamic analysis of each process in this closed system.

Assumptions & Engineering Model

Within the Campus Chiller Plant, the refrigerant in the system functions with R-134a. This substance is seen in Tables A-9, A-10, A-11, and A-12.
